Working on new book today
July 26th, 2009Peter Modley loaned me Omar Bradley’s book, A Soldier’s Story, and it had some interesting reflections on the African campaign, especially the details about the offices of the Allied Forces Headquarters in Algiers. Very useful for the chapter I’m working on. Aren’t you intrigued about how this fits in with a story about a “donut dolly”? Well, it does, and that just emphasizes how a story gets complicated.
